  • Provide a forum to foster improved relations between industry operators and government representatives about environmental management regulatory issues.

The seminar was opened by the Hon Dr Steven Miles MP, Minister for Environment and Heritage Protection and Minister for National Parks and the Great Barrier Reef.

The program was also included presentations on environmental legislation, weather forecasting, energy efficiency, water management, and an update from EHP on key priorities for the regulator.
